Proxy error

Please check your proxy settings and try again and again and again

This problem seems to be due to a Windows Update.

Telkom have resolved the issues on their side.

It seems to be affecting Windows 10 mostly.

Windows 10 Fix

STEP 1 – Type “Proxy” in search

STEP 2 – Click on “Proxy Settings”

STEP 3 – Click on ON button to turn it off

STEP 4 – Make sure it is turned OFF

STEP 5 – Close your browser. Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox

STEP 6  – Re-Open your browser. Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox

STEP 7  – Some browsers may have separate proxy settings in the program itself.

Change them if the above does not solve the problem.

Windows 7 Fix

STEP 1 – Go to Control Panel

STEP 2 – Click on “Internet Options”

STEP 3 – Click on Connections

STEP 4 – Click on LAN Settings

STEP 5 – Remove check in box next to automatically detect settings

STEP 6  – Make sure the box is empty

STEP 7  – Click OK

STEP 8  – Again Click OK

STEP 9  – Close and Re-Open your browser. Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox
